About

Built From Real European Vehicle Experience

Vollux Autowerks grew from CB Tuning, dealership experience, early VW roots, diagnostics, performance work, and a larger Schnecksville facility built for European service, repair, tires, dyno testing, and performance.

Milestones

From early roots to a full European/performance facility.

  1. Early roots

    Trade passed down

Automotive work was part of life early: cars, tools, diagnostics, tire work, carburetors, and learning systems at home.

  2. 2009

    CB Tuning starts

Dealership experience and side work grew through customers, VWVortex forums, and people needing real help with their vehicles.

  3. 2020

    Larger Schnecksville facility

The business moved into a larger building and the Vollux Autowerks name showed the shop had grown beyond tuning.

  4. Today

    European repair and performance

Diagnostics, maintenance, PA inspection, tires, A/C, AWD dyno testing, and performance work under one independent roof.

Owner Story

Learning the right way from the beginning.

The owner's father had a shop when he was very young, and even after selling it, the trade kept being passed down at home. That meant growing up around tools, repair work, diagnostics, tire work, carburetors, and the habit of understanding a system before trying to fix it.

An old Sun diagnostic machine at home helped shape an early interest in testing instead of guessing. That mechanical background later connected naturally with science, math, computers, scan tools, electrical troubleshooting, calibration, and performance work.

The goal was never just to make something work temporarily. It was to understand the system and fix it the right way.

More Than Tuning

Performance capability, with full-service repair depth.

Performance and dyno work are still part of Vollux Autowerks, but the rebrand from CB Tuning helped show customers the shop does more than tuning. Today, Vollux handles day-to-day European repair needs, diagnostic problems, and performance support with the same process-driven mindset.

  • Factory-level maintenance and oil service
  • Diagnostics, electrical, warning lights, and drivability
  • PA inspection and emissions
  • Tires, Hunter Road Force balancing, and wheel care
  • A/C service for R134a and R1234yf systems
  • AWD Dynojet testing and performance validation

Facility Proof

A building and workflow built for the work.

The facility gives Vollux more capability than a typical small repair shop while keeping the focus and communication of an independent specialist.

Customer First

The customer matters more than the badge.

Vollux specializes in European vehicles, but long-term customers sometimes switch brands. When the work fits the facility and process, the shop is happy to keep supporting those relationships.

That focus also means being honest about fit. Vollux generally avoids larger trucks because the building, lifts, and workflow are not built around that vehicle size.

Tools And Process

Capability used as proof, not noise.

Tools matter when they help confirm the real issue, follow the correct procedure, and verify the repair path.

Diagnosis Before Replacement

Codes, symptoms, and common failures are starting points.

Vollux puts eyes, hands, scan data, and test procedures on the actual concern before recommending parts. The goal is to understand what failed and why, then repair it properly and verify the result.
