Wash and assess contamination and paint defects. Remove contamination with compatible methods and correct defects only where appropriate before coating.
For a rinse-on sealant, follow its wet-surface and rinse directions. For a wipe-applied coating, follow its preparation, application and curing requirements. These are not interchangeable procedures.
Continue regular washing with compatible products. If behavior changes, evaluate cleaning and contamination before automatically applying more coating.
