Dressing is not a substitute for cleaning. Use a suitable tire cleaner and separate brush, then prepare and dry as the selected dressing requires before applying it.

Identify and clean the material
Check whether you are treating a tire sidewall or a particular trim finish. Remove dirt with an approved cleaner and follow the required surface preparation.
Control where the product goes
Follow the applicator and amount guidance. Keep dressing off tire tread, brakes, pedals and other areas where grip is needed. Do not spray indiscriminately around the vehicle.
Check excess and maintain
Remove or level excess as directed before driving. Inspect the finish and use the chosen product's maintenance guidance rather than adding layers to hide contamination.

Do not assume a permanent repair. Product appearance and durability vary, and degraded, painted or damaged trim can need a different assessment.
