More than turning wrenches

Learn how the whole shop works.

For someone starting out, contributing to the everyday work is part of learning. You will have clear priorities and a person to report to—not an expectation to figure everything out alone.

Keep the shop, tools and work areas clean and organized.
Assist technicians and help prepare jobs.
Learn routine maintenance and progress to other repairs as skills are demonstrated and supervision allows.
Help with parts receiving, organization and job preparation.
Gain exposure to scheduling, documentation and service-writer support.

Not every person will rotate through every task. Vehicle work is assigned within your ability; inspection duties depend on the appropriate credentials and authorization.

Hands-on learning & mentorship

Try the work. Build a direction.

A paid introductory learning role can help you decide whether automotive work is for you before committing to a longer career path or school.

A clear starting agreement.

Before starting, we will discuss the work, pay, schedule and expectations. For an introductory role, we plan a review around 30 days to discuss progress, fit and possible next steps together.

There may be an opportunity to continue and grow if it fits both sides and the shop's needs. Continued employment, a specific position or a particular training timeline is not promised.

This is paid work with hands-on learning, not unpaid job shadowing or a formal apprenticeship program.

Our normal shop hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Part-time schedules must fit the work and supervision available. Applying does not guarantee an interview or an opening in every area.
