Automotive Careers & Shop Support Application

Step 1

Let’s start with the basics.

Enough information to have a real conversation.

We take the time to read your answers, and we ask you to take the time to write them thoughtfully. Previous automotive experience is not required. Honest answers, specific examples and a willingness to learn matter more than polished wording.

Full name Required Mobile phone Required Enter a 10-digit US phone number. Email Required City and state Required

What interests you most? Required Preferred work schedule Required

Are you legally authorized to work in the United States? Required Yes No

Do you have a valid driver’s license? Required Yes No

Step 2

Tell us about your automotive background.

School, personal projects, other jobs and hands-on learning all count. No previous experience is an acceptable starting point.

PA safety inspection license Required PA emissions license Required

Do you own the hand tools needed for professional repair work? Required Yes Mostly No

Step 3

What can you do today—and where do you need guidance?

Be accurate. “Have not performed” is welcome for a beginner or non-technician applicant. These answers help us plan supervision; they are not a requirement to have done every task.

Maintenance, inspections, and common service Required Brakes, suspension, steering, and chassis repair Required Electrical testing and drivability diagnostics Required Timing chains, timing belts, and valvetrain work Required Engine removal, transmission removal, and major repair Required Modified, performance, or specialty vehicle work Required

Step 4

How do you see things?

There are no scripted right answers. School, personal projects and non-automotive examples are welcome; no shop experience is needed.

Two equally capable people can work just as hard and still have very different outcomes. What do you think usually explains the difference? Required Do you believe you control what happens in your life, or do luck, timing, and other outside factors have a say too? Tell us how you see it. Required Tell us about a time a job, project, or important situation did not go the way you expected. What happened next? Required

Step 5

What could a role at Vollux look like for you?

We are open to the right fit, not promising an opening in every area. Tell us the schedule and responsibilities that could work.

What best describes your timing? Required Compensation expectation Required

Does your availability fit some or all of our normal Monday-Friday shop hours? Required Yes, for the full-time or part-time schedule I describe below I would like to discuss the available hours

Days and hours you can reliably work Required What would you like to learn or explore? Optional What are you hoping to find in this opportunity? Required Why does Vollux interest you specifically? Required Resume Optional PDF or DOCX, up to 5 MB.

Entry-level opportunities are paid work and may include cleaning, organization, helping technicians, parts and service-office support. Duties, pay and schedule are discussed before starting. An introductory role includes a review around 30 days; continuing depends on mutual fit and shop needs. This is not a formal apprenticeship or a promise of continued employment.

Step 6
