Gen 2 here refers to the B58 technical-update family, not identical hardware across all cars. The 2020 U.S. Supra 3.0 uses a different cylinder-head/exhaust-port version from the 2021 model. Later TU2 / Gen 3, plug-in hybrids and Supra 2.0 models are not automatically included. The video's G42 M240i is a separate example from the X7 and Supra graphs. ECU identification, software and unlock requirements are checked before quoting.
